WENDY

Wendy had felt like she was at a good enough distant to stop. She’s been running now for hours and it wouldn’t be long before the women would have tracked her down. Breathing heavily, Wendy stopped and sat on a damp gray rock. She poked her numb legs which yelled at her to stop running, but she knew she couldn’t. It was only until then that a ball of fire caught her eye. It was far in the distance but it appeared as bright as the moon. Wendy jumped up, her mind awake and started her legs again. SHe stumbled and fumbled and found herself on the forest floor. With her hands she propped herself up and just about she began to run, a certain whisper caught her ear. “Oh!” She said, jumping and turning around. “W-Er- Mal- How did you find me?” Wendy’s throat was dry and her body hurt of a thousand bee stings, but she knew now was not the time to show mercy.

Maleficent snaked an arm around Wendy’s shoulders, “Wendy…Darling…you left my castle. No one simply LEAVES my castle without permission dearie…you took on the role of my apprentice.” Her expression went from soft to harsh, “And you shall stay as my apprentice!” She tapped her scepter forcefully onto the ground and when the greenish smoke cleared, they were back in Maleficent’s castle. This time, however, they were not in Wendy’s room or even the study, but the dungeon. “Welcome to your new room, dear apprentice.”
